Holidays! (3 1/2 months)

Before I had Isaac whenever I heard parents complain about holiday travel I was like "oh boo hoo, sad story" (maybe a tad more sympathetic...) Holy cow did that come back to bite me in the butt! I cannot make a full account of these things but it sufficeth me to say that we experienced the joys (not) of standby and did experience many miracles at the hands of a gate agent that was swooned by Isaac.
In other news - Adam got his LSAT back!!! And he made his goal! After a year of studying we can finally say audios to that monster! Now we'll just have our fingers crossed as we wait for letters of acceptance to come in.
We had our first session of studio family photos and they turned out pretty great. Isaac is a big flirt, so he was giving the photographer big smiles. We also had Isaac's 100 day old party. It's a Korean tradition to throw a big party when a baby turns 100 days old (that's why he has the traditional clothes on in some pictures).
Speaking of family photos - One of my best friends is a photography student up here at the Y and she is amazing. (She did our engagements) When I told her I was going into the hospital to have the baby she was right there by my side listening to me make crazy drug induced babble (which she is not allowed to repeat). She also came right after Isaac was born and took some beautiful pictures. I don't think some of the family has seen these pictures, so I decided to post them up too.

And now some pictures...
Just showing off those fine motor skills.

Then top it off with some baby push ups.

 Just holding our bug

 And now a couple shot

Adam and Isaac

 Me and Isaac

He likes to stick out his tongue...

...and hold his hands together...like he's plotting

 Cutie

"Oh you know, just planning on taking over the world"

 My favorite

All together

First day Grandpa Bartlett got to see him

Uncle Kimball laughing with Isaac (back in Nov. before he entered the MTC)

Isaac showing off his 100-day old outfit (a little big... and a little pink...but it's a Korean thing)

 The whole (little) family

Showing off just the hat

Trying very hard to suck his thumb in over-sized sleeves.

 Some time with Uncle Derek

Now some quality photography
Oh the flashbacks that come with this picture...

Once Chelsea came we let Adam have a little break. Watching me go through contractions was really hard on him.

I won't get mushy, but I'm really glad I've got Adam to go through all that with

We were all very tired...

I can't believe how big he is now! Isaac is just such a wonderful happy boy. You can see the laughter in his eyes. There's this line in a movie Adam loves where the father is describing his baby boy and he says "He doesn't say much, but we know he's smart. He's always got his eyes open, he's always watching us. Sometimes you can look at him and you just know he's learning something new. It's like witnessing a miracle." I think of that line a lot with Isaac.

All our love - The Chevriers
