3 Months!

Isaac is 3 months old!!! (Well, on the 19th) He is SUPER talkative. Adam has had several discussions with him ranging from the current state of the union to why Isaac can't have candy this year at Christmas. We've managed to catch a few on video for your entertainment.

2 Months

This holiday season has already had us running around like crazy...We had Thanksgiving in Georgia, law school applications sent in, then a weekend in Logan, grad school applications started, a missionary came home, Isaac's baby blessing, a missionary sent off, an LSAT, and I got trained as a relationship educator for CoupleCARE. (see www.coupleCARE.info) (Yes, that was shameless self-advertising...but ya'll we are poor folk!)

But who care about that? This is what you're here for... more pictures of our bug!

 He's been trying really hard to suck his thumb, but he gets overzealous and ends up sucking his whole fist.

 "Pfft, Mom you were worried about me on a plane? Please."

Apparently, plane rides induce a comatose state in Isaac. He slept almost the whole time on both flights!

 So the airlines lost our car seat for a period of time... but we were happily reunited.

"Isaac, I'm going to teach you how to play N64" "Dad...I lack the fine motor skills to appreciate this..."

Isaac is about 2 months now! He's a wonderful baby. He only wakes up once during the night now, which means he's sleeping about 6 - 8 hour stretches. Mother's day came early this year (hallelujah!) 

All-in-all: life is good. :)

7 weeks old

Isaac is 7 weeks old now! He's a porker...he weighed in last week at 12lbs, almost double his birth weight (7lbs 4 oz). He's in the 84th percentile for his weight (in case anyone wanted to know that...) He's learned to smile, but is still figuring out how to laugh. We'll tickle him and his eyes will get really big and he'll start breathing really fast, and look at us like "I'm not sure how to respond to this sensation..."

He's a lot more aware of his surroundings now...which means whenever I bring out the camera he stops smiling and looks at the camera like "What the heck is that?"...sigh... - 7 wks

Another "hmmmmmmmm?" face. Papa says his camera shy-ness is because he's humble... I say it's because he's a little bug... - 7 wks

In other news - He's got his first flight next week...pray that the airlines have mercy on our souls.
